We’re looking for someone with a technical foundation (ideally with past coding or web development experience) and a strong marketing performance mindset, especially in the DTC e-commerce space.
For the role:
- The main website sees over 200k sessions per week
- Run over 400 funnel tests across millions of sessions
- 39% conclusive testing rate, placing the CRO program among the best in the world
- This is a key leadership role with direct impact on customer growth, product launches, and the performance of multiple brands.
Responsibilities:
A Head of Funnel/Ecommerce Product Manager plays a key role in driving customer acquisition, optimizing conversion rates, and ensuring the top of the sales funnel is functioning effectively.
🔍 1. Funnel Optimization & Customer Acquisition:
- Define and optimize the top-of-funnel strategy: driving traffic, increasing awareness, and engaging new users.
- Work closely with marketing, growth, and analytics teams to improve paid and organic acquisition channels (SEO, SEM, email, social, etc.).
- Develop and test landing pages, signup flows, and lead magnets to maximize conversions.
📊 2. Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Analyze funnel metrics: bounce rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, CAC, etc.
- Identify friction points in the user journey and prioritize product improvements.
- Use A/B testing and user research to validate ideas and measure impact.
🧭 3. Customer Journey & UX Ownership:
- Own the early-stage user experience: from awareness to account creation or first purchase.
- Ensure a seamless and persuasive onboarding experience.
- Collaborate with design and engineering to deliver high-impact UX/UI enhancements.
🛒 4. Ecommerce-Specific Focus:
- Optimize product discovery and browsing experience (e.g., navigation, search, filtering).
- Work on cart abandonment strategies, promotions, and pricing tests.
- Drive improvements in mobile shopping experience.
🤝 5. Cross-Functional Leadership:
- Partner with stakeholders across marketing, analytics, sales, customer support, and engineering.
- Translate business goals into product requirements and roadmaps.
- Align top-of-funnel initiatives with overall ecommerce growth strategy.
📅 6. Roadmap Ownership:
- Prioritize backlog based on impact, feasibility, and business needs.
- Own and communicate the product roadmap for top-of-funnel initiatives.
- Balance short-term growth experiments with long-term strategic bets.
Requirements:
Hard Skills:
- Technical background – You either studied coding, worked as a developer, or have substantial hands-on experience managing web developers and speaking their language;
- Funnel & CRO expertise – You’ve designed, built, and optimized acquisition funnels in DTC or e-commerce environments;
- Website product ownership – You understand how to manage a web roadmap, integrations, product launches, and performance improvements;
- Marketing knowledge – You’re comfortable working alongside media buyers, creatives, and email teams to build campaigns that convert;
- Analytical mindset – You’re fluent in interpreting funnel metrics (CAC, AOV, LTV, etc.) and A/B testing results to make data-led decisions;
- Team development – You’ve built or scaled a team before and know how to recruit, onboard, and grow high performers.
